Between Frome / Weston-super-Mare / Bristol Temple Meads and Severn Beach

Description

A power cut between Avonmouth and Severn Beach means that the line is closed. As a result, trains are unable to run between these stations and will be revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Taxis will run between Avonmouth and Severn Beach until further notice.

You may use your ticket at no extra cost on the following First Bus Bristol, Bath & West routes:

  • 6 and 7 between Bristol (Centre) and Lawrence Hill (Station)

  • 42, 43, 44 and 45 between Bristol (Centre) and Lawrence Hill (Station)

  • 48 and 49 between Bristol (Centre) and Stapleton Road (Warwick Road)

  • 70 between Bristol (Temple Meads), Montpelier (Colstons School) and Filton Abbey Wood

  • 72 between Bristol (Temple Meads), Redland (Station) and Filton Abbey Wood

  • 75 between Bristol (Centre), Montpelier (Colstons School) and Filton Abbey Wood

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
