Description
A fault on a train at Dodworth means all lines are blocked. Trains between Sheffield and Huddersfield will be cancelled or run between Penistone and Huddersfield only. Buses will replace trains between Barnsley and Huddersfield.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
Customers can travel to Leeds or Wakefield Kirkgate and change for services to / from Huddersfield.
Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on TransPennine Express services between Leeds, Wakefield Kirkgate and Huddersfield.
Additionally, if the train you have a ticket for is cancelled, you can travel on any Northern, TransPennine Express or LNER service within 2 hours before or after your cancelled service was due to depart.
Rail replacement transport has been requested to run between Barnsley and Huddersfield. You will be updated once this has been confirmed.
