Trains between Cheltenham Spa / Droitwich Spa / Redditch and Birmingham New Street

Description

A fault with the signalling system between Bromsgrove and Longbridge means trains have to run at a reduced speed on some lines. As a result, trains between Cheltenham Spa / Droitwich Spa / Redditch and Birmingham New Street may be delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 18:00.

CrossCountry customer advice:

If your train is cancelled, your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service.

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost

Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are the unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.

West Midlands Railway customer advice:

Rail replacement transport is operating between Longbridge Redditch / Bromsgrove, and also between Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley. These are running in both directions.
