Description
The fault with the signalling system between Barrhead and Kilmarnock has been fixed and trains can begins to run to normal. Trains running between these stations may still be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 18:00.
Customer advice:
You can use your ticket, at no additional cost on the following services:
Alternative ScotRail services via any reasonable route to your destination
Stagecoach West buses until 16:30 on their X76 service between Glasgow and Kilmarnock in both directions
If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
Rail replacement transport has been arranged to run as follows:
Departing Barrhead at 15:30 / 16:00 / 16:30 operated by Westway buses, Abbey Coach and Arays Travel
Departing Kilmarnock at 16:30 operated by Abbey buses and Photoflash buses (dependant on traffic)
