Description

A safety inspection of the track between Barry and Barry Island means that all lines are blocked. As a result trains are unable to run between between these station.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Transport for Wales have been made aware of a safety issue at Barry Island Station.

For safety, train services are unable to run through the area.

Services from Barry to Barry Island in both directions, are affected.

Customer advice:

Rail replacement transport has been arranged to run between Barry and Barry Island until 23:30, provided by Ferris at the following times:

  • Bus will depart Barry Island at XX:10 and XX:40

  • Bus will depart Barry at XX:25 and XX:55

Road transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
