Description

Lines have now reopened following an operational incident between Bellshill and Uddingston. However, whilst service recovers, trains running between Edinburgh / Motherwell and Glasgow Central may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or cancelled.

Disruption is expected until 19:30.

Customer advice:

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on the following routes:

  • Lanark to Glasgow Central. Customers can travel on these services for Belshill and Uddingston

  • Motherwell to Glasgow Central Low Level to connect in with local buses to Holytown, Hartwood and Shotts


If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
