Description

A person has been hit by a train between Bidston and West Kirby. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. As a result, trains are unable to run between Birkenhead North and West Kirby and will be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until approximately 16:30.

Rail replacement transport is in operation between Birkenhead North and West Kirby in both directions.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost, on Arriva Buses services 407 and 437, also on Stagecoach Buses service 38.
