Between Glasgow Central and Gourock / Wemyss Bay

Description

Damage to the overhead wires between Paisley St James and Bishopton means all lines are blocked. Trains running between Glasgow Central and Gourock / Wemyss Bay will be cancelled.

Disruption is expected until 17:00.

Customer advice:

Replacement buses have been requested but there is limited availability. We will provide an update once more is known.

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost the following routes:

  • McGills Buses between Glasgow and Paisley / Gourock / Wemyss Bay

  • ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination

Customers are advised where possible to make their own arrangements.

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
