Description

Vandalism of railway equipment between Blackpool North and Poulton-le-Fylde means fewer trains are able to run on all lines.

Trains running to / from Blackpool North may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, cancelled or revised to start / terminate at Preston.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

Customer advice:

All ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption and customers may use any Northern service between Blackpool North or Blackpool South and Preston to complete their journey.

Additional information:

Some services will not call at Kirkham & Wesham, Poulton-le-Fylde and Blackpool North.

Trains between Blackpool South and Preston are not affected by this disruption.

Network Rail continue to work to rectify the issue.
