Description

Lines have reopened following a train hitting an obstruction on the line earlier between Watford Junction and Milton Keynes Central. An inspection had taken place and it is now safe for trains to resume. Trains that run between these stations may still be delayed by up to 20 minutes.

We expected this to continue until approximately 22:00.

Avanti West Coast customer advice:

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

London Northwestern Railway customer advice:

Rail replacement transport is in operation between Rugby and Nuneaton via Tamworth.
