Description

Predicted flooding between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth means from 21:30 today the line between these stations will be closed. The train service will therefore be suspended.

This is expected until the end of the day.

The following alterations will apply:

• 20:08 Birmingham International to Aberystwyth will terminate at Machynlleth

• 20:32 Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth will terminate at Machynlleth

• 22:27 Aberystwyth to Machynlleth will be cancelled

• 23:39 Aberystwyth to Machynlleth will be cancelled

Replacement buses, provided by Lloyds will run as follows:

• 21:50 Machynlleth all stations to Aberystwyth. This rail replacement will meet the incoming 20:32 Shrewsbury service to maintain customer connections

• 22:27 Aberystwyth all stations to Machynlleth

• 23:03 Machynlleth all stations to Aberystwyth. This rail replacement will meet the incoming 20:08 Birmingham International service to maintain customer connections

• 23:39 Aberystwyth all stations to Machynlleth

Road transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
