Between Stockport and Bournemouth

Description

A shortage of train crew between Stockport and Bournemouth means trains running between these stations may be cancelled.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Tickets will be accepted on the following routes at no extra cost:

  • Avanti West Coast between Stockport / Birmingham New Street and London Euston

  • Chiltern Railways between Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone

  • Great Western Railway between Reading / Oxford and London Paddington, and also between Banbury – Didcot Parkway - Reading and Basingstoke

  • London Northwestern Railway between Stafford / Birmingham New Street and London Euston, and also between Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford

  • London Underground between London Terminals. Please show your ticket to gateline staff on the Underground to be allowed through the ticket gates.

  • South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Bournemouth

  • West Midlands Railway between Coventry and Leamington Spa

If your CrossCountry train is cancelled, then you can use your ticket on the two CrossCountry services operating before and the two CrossCountry services after your cancelled service.

Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over, but Coach B, H and L are unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.
