Description
A fault with the signalling system between Bridlington and Scarborough means all lines are disrupted. As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 12:30.
Additional information:
Network Rail engineers are due on site shortly to attempt to rectify this issue.
Customer advice:
To assist customers to complete their journey, road transport has been requested to run between Bridlington - Scarborough, in both directions. More information will follow once confirmed.
Journey times will be extended whilst travelling by rail replacement transport.
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
