Description

The emergency services have completed their work following an earlier incident. This has allowed all lines between Brighton and Haywards Heat. As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be delayed by up to 45 minutes, cancelled or revised.

Disruption expected until the end of the day.

Services that run via Haywards Heath have been significantly disrupted by an incident earlier today. Lines have reopened, but journeys may continue to be subject to residual disruption.

You may need to leave up to 45 minutes extra to complete your journey. You may need to travel on a different train to normal, or change trains at an intermediate station to reach your destination.

Your ticket will be accepted at no additional cost on the below:

  • Alternative Thameslink, Southern, and Gatwick Express services between London and the south coast

  • East Midlands Railway services between London St Pancras International and Bedford
