Description

A safety inspection of the track in the Bristol Parkway area means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running through this station may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised to terminate / start at a different station on their route.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Great Western Railway customer advice:

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.

You can also use your ticket at no extra cost on the following First Buses:

  • Route Y1 between Yate (station) and Bristol (bus station)

  • Route Y6 between Yate (station), Bristol Parkway (station) and Patchway (Little Stoke Lane)

Rail replacement transport has been requested to run as follows:

  • Bristol Parkway to Gloucester, ETA 11:00

  • Gloucester to Bristol Parkway, ETA 11:30

All road transport will call at Cam & Dursley and Yate.
