Customer Advice:

Network Rail have been carrying out planned engineering work near Chipping Sodbury, between Swindon and Bristol Parkway. They have advised that this will not be finished on time. Bad weather, machinery failure or unexpected complications can cause these works to overrun.

To keep trains running, services between Swindon and Bristol Parkway will use an alternative route, in both directions. Your journey will take approximately 25 minutes longer than usual.

As trains are still able to run, you should travel as normal and catch your intended train. If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train with your original ticket, at no extra cost.

If you miss a connection as a result of being delayed, you can use your ticket, at no extra cost, on the next available train.
