Between Southampton Central and Brockenhurst
Description
Following an earlier fault with the signalling system between Southampton Central and Brockenhurst lines have now reopened. Whilst services recover, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
This is expected until 12:00.
CrossCountry customer advice:
You may use your ticket on the following services and suggested routes at no extra cost:
South Western Railway services / and road transport between Southampton Airport Parkway / Southampton Central and Bournemouth
Your existing ticket can be used at no extra cost without needing to amend your ticket on any CrossCountry service and South Western Railway services operating two hours before or two hours after a cancelled service.
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.
South Western Railway customer advice:
Following multiple track circuit failures on the line between Southampton Central and Brockenhurst, all lines between these stations have now reopened.
While the issue has been resolved, disruption will continue because of trains and crew being out of place.
Long distance and Mainline services
Train services between London Waterloo and Bournemouth / Weymouth are now able to run as booked.
Train services between Weymouth / Bournemouth and London Waterloo are now able to run as booked.
These services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes, and may have short notice alterations to their calling patterns.
South and west local services
Train services between Salisbury and Romsey via Southampton / Eastleigh are unaffected by this, however they may be delayed behind late running services in the Southampton to Eastleigh areas.
Train services between Brockenhurst and Lymington stations are unaffected by this.
How do I get to my destination?
You can continue to travel by rail through the previously affected areas.
However, as trains have been late leaving their starting stations, delays are expected to your journey.

Bluestar 11 and 12 between Southampton and Totton
Morebus New Forest Breezer 86 Southampton - Millbrook - Totton - Ashurst - Brockenhurst - Lymington Town
Morebus New Forest Breezer 81 and 82 between Lymington Town - New Milton - Christchurch - Bournemouth
Morebus 1A, 1B and 1C between Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Christchurch
