Amended services in the Bromley South area this evening

Description

Emergency engineering works are taking place in the Bromley South this evening.

In order to allow urgent repairs to the railway tonight, all lines in the Bromley South area will be blocked from approximately midnight to 05:50.

The following alterations will take place:

Wednesday night

The last train to run from Victoria to Bromley South will be the 23:40 service to Ramsgate.

The 23:57 and 00:27 London Victoria - Orpington services will be diverted between London Victoria and Petts Wood, and will not call at stations between Brixton and Bickley inclusive. These services will call additionally at Denmark Hill, Lewisham and Grove Park.

The 00:10 and 00:40 London Victoria - Gillingham services, and the 00:25 London Victoria - Ashford International service, will be diverted between London Victoria and St Mary Cray, and will not call at Bromley South.

If you require travel from central London towards Bromley South, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on London Buses. Alternatively, the last service to Bromley North departs Grove Park at 00:32, which connects from the 00:01 departure from London Charing Cross.

If you require travel from Bromley South towards Orpington / Gillingham / Ashford, taxis will be arranged.

Thursday morning

The 04:23 Swanley - London Victoria, and 04:48 Orpington - London Victoria, will be cancelled. A replacement bus will run from Swanley.

The 04:50 and 05:18 Orpington - London Victoria services will be diverted between Petts Wood and London Victoria, and will not call at stations between Bickley and Brixton inclusive. These services will call additionally at Grove Park, Lewisham and Denmark Hill.

The first train to call at Bromley South is scheduled to be the 05:00 Gillingham - London Victoria (05:45 Bromley South), although this will run up to 10 minutes late.

The first train from Orpington to Bromley South and all stations to London Victoria is scheduled to be the 05:34 from Orpington (05:48 Bromley South).
