A safety inspection of the track between Peckham Rye and Bromley South means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Customer advice:

If you are traveling from Bromley South towards Peckham Rye you will need to change more times than normal. Please allow at least an additional 60 minutes to complete your journey.

If you are traveling in the opposite direction from Peckham Rye towards Bromley South you can continue your normal route. Please allow an additional 20 minutes through this area due to disruption.

While this disruption is ongoing, Thameslink will be making the following changes to services:

Trains that normally run between Orpington and London Blackfriars are likely to be cancelled.

If these trains will run they will run non stop from Shortlands to Elephant & Castle stopping at Herne Hill.

How do I get from Bromley South to London?

You can use your ticket on a Southeastern service direct to London Victoria. You can also use your ticket on the London Underground for onward travel.

Please be aware this will add up to 20 minutes to your journey today.

You can travel on the following services at no additional cost;

• Southern services between Beckenham Junction and London Bridge

• Southeastern services between Bromley South and London Victoria

• London Underground between all London terminals

• London Buses between Bromely South and all London terminals
