Northern between Scarborough and Sheffield, Bridlington and York, and also between Hull and Doncaster / Halifax

TransPennine Express between Hull and Liverpool Lime Street

Description

Lines have reopened following a points failure between Hull and Goole / Selby. Services may still be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Advice for Hull Trains customers:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Northern services between Doncaster and Hull in both directions.

Advice for Northern customers:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services:

  • TransPennine Express services between Leeds and Hull

Any ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption.

Northern have requested rail replacement transport at Hull, Selby and Goole. More information will follow once this has been confirmed.

Journey times may be extended by up to 45 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.

Advice for TransPennine Express customers:

To help you complete your journey rail replacement transport has been requested hourly as follows:

  • Leeds to Hull at xx:30, calling at Selby and Brough

  • Selby to Hull at xx:00, calling at Brough

  • Hull to Leeds at xx:05, calling at Brough and Selby

  • Selby to Leeds at xx:40, calling at Leeds

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services:

  • Alternative TransPennine Express services between Leeds / Manchester Victoria / Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street

  • Northern services between Leeds / Manchester Victoria / Manchester Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street

  • Bee Network, who operate a free bus every 10 minutes between Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly
