Description

All lines have reopened following a points failure at Buxton. Trains to / from Buxton may still be revised as services return to normal.

We anticipate this to continue until approximately 10:30.

Replacement transport:

Road transport is in operation between Hazel Grove & Buxton (in both directions) as follows:

  • 1x Coach will depart Hazel Grove at 08:45 calling stations to Buxton , Operated by Sky Coaches

  • 1x Coach will depart Buxton at 09:15 calling stations to Hazel Grove, Operated by Sky Coaches

Please check station information posters for the location of the bus pick up points and be advised that bicycles, e-bikes and dogs (except for service dogs) are not permitted on replacement road transport.

Journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.
