Description

A fault on a train at Hazel Grove means that fewer trains than normal are able to run on all lines. As a result, trains may be delayed or cancelled.

Disruption is expected until 22:00.

Fewer train services are able to run between Buxton and Manchester Piccadilly in both directions.

You can travel on the next Northern service to your destination, where available.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Replacement transport:

Road transport will be operated by Mayfair as follows:

  • From Hazel Grove to Buxton calling at Middlewood, Disley, New Mills Newtown, Furness Vale, Whaley Bridge, Chapel en le Frith, Dove Holes and Buxton at 21:00
