Description

A fault with the signalling system at Canterbury West means some lines are blocked. Trains running between Ashford International and Ramsgate may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

What's happened?

There is a signalling problem at Canterbury West, blocking the London bound line through the stations

How does this affect my journey?

Trains towards London are unable to run from Ramsgate and Ashford International via Canterbury West, so may be diverted to run via Dover Priory at short notice.

Trains from London towards Ramsgate via Canterbury West are not currently affected and can run normally.

What do I need to do?

We are arranging for replacement buses to run from Ramsgate and Canterbury West towards Ashford International and you will be able to use these to travel from Ramsgate to Ashford via Canterbury West.

You can also use alternative train between Ramsgate and Ashford International which run via Dover, and change at Ashford International for a train back towards Canterbury West.
