Description

The emergency services have now safely dealt with the earlier incident where a person was hit by a train between Hooton and Chester. This has allowed all lines running between these stations to reopen.

Although the incident has now been dealt with, a reduced service remains in operation between these stations. Trains may either be cancelled in full, or revised to not operate between Hooton and Chester.

This is expected until 22:00.
