Description

A fault with the signalling system between Hooton and Capenhurst means that the line is disrupted. As a result, trains will not run between Chester and Hooton.

Disruption is expected until 14:30

Customer advice:

Selected services will start and terminate at Rock Ferry.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on rail replacement buses between Hooton and Chester.

You can also use your ticket at no extra cost on:

  • Transport for Wales between Liverpool Lime Street and Chester in both directions

  • Stagecoach Buses 1 and X1
