No direct Transport for Wales service between Pontypridd and Cardiff Bay until the end of the day on Saturday 26 September

Between Pontypridd and Cardiff Bay

Description

There are more Transport for Wales trains than usual requiring repairs at the same time. As a result of this, there are fewer trains available to run the direct service between Pontypridd and Cardiff Bay.

Therefore, Transport for Wales services that would ordinarily operate directly between these stations have been cancelled in full. Instead, a shuttle service will operate between Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Bay.

If you are travelling to Cardiff Bay from stations between Pontypridd and Cathays, please change trains at Cardiff Queen Street for an onward train to Cardiff Bay.

These alterations are expected to be in place until the end of the day on Saturday 26 September.

Customer advice:

You may use your ticket on the following services between Pontypridd and Cardiff at no extra cost until the end of the day:

• Cardiff Bus routes 13, 24, 25 and 52

• Stagecoach bus route 132

Pay as you go cannot be used on local bus operators. You are advised to tap out at the earliest opportunity.
