No direct Transport for Wales service between Pontypridd and Cardiff Bay: a normal service is expected to resume from Wednesday 14 October

Between Pontypridd and Cardiff Bay

Description

There are more Transport for Wales trains than usual requiring repairs at the same time. As a result of this, services that would ordinarily operate directly Pontypridd and Cardiff Bay have been cancelled in full. Instead, a shuttle service will operate between Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Bay.

If you are travelling between Pontypridd and Cardiff Queen Street / Cardiff Central, there are alternative trains running. If you are travelling to / from Cardiff Bay, you can use the shuttle train service which is running between Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Bay.

These alterations are expected to be in place until the end of the day on Tuesday 13 October. A normal service is expected to resume from the start of service on Wednesday 14 October.

Customer advice:

Pay as you go cannot be used on local bus operators. You are advised to tap out at the earliest opportunity.
