Between Cardiff Central and Nottingham

Description

A shortage of train drivers between Cardiff Central and Nottingham means fewer trains are able to run on all lines. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled.

This is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

To assist you with your journey, you can use your ticket on the following services, at no extra cost:

  • The two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service

  • East Midlands Railway services between Derby and Nottingham in both directions

  • Great Western Railway services between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway in both directions

  • Transport for Wales services between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa in both directions

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost
