Description

The RMT union have announced industrial action that will impact Chiltern Railways on Thursday 12 November.

The vast majority of services will be unaffected with 90% of services expected to operate as scheduled. Most will experience a near normal train service.

Chiltern Railways will also be running their usual enhanced train service to and from Wembley Stadium to support the England vs Croatia football match in the evening. If you are travelling to this fixture you should plan your journey as normal.

A visual disruption map video is available.

Please take note of the following impact:

  • There will be no Chiltern Railways services running between Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon all day. You should use West Midlands Railway services via Dorridge, with tickets accepted at no extra cost

  • There will be a small reduction in the overall number of Chiltern Railways services running between Leamington Spa and Birmingham Moor Street due to the local 'shuttle' services not running. If you are travelling to or from Hatton and Lapworth who will be particularly affected

  • There will be no Chiltern Railways services north of Birmingham Moor Street all day. You should use West Midlands Railway services between Birmingham Moor Street and Stourbridge Junction, with tickets accepted at no extra cost (be aware that the last northbound service towards Stourbridge Junction, and onwards to Worcester Shrub Hill, departs Birmingham Moor Street at 22:57)
