Description

There have been lots of planned engineering works and upgrades taking place during the festive period as Network Rail carried out work to improve the railway.

During the Christmas and New Year period major engineering work has successfully taken place at the following locations:

  • Between London St Pancras International and Harpenden – Completed

  • In the London Paddington area – Completed

  • At London Liverpool Street – Completed

  • In the Crewe area - Completed

Work continues in the Cambridge area until Sunday 5 January and long term work is continuing in the Westbury area. You can find details of these projects and all the engineering work that is taking place in the 'Planned engineering works' section of our Status and Disruptions page.
