Description
A fault on a train between Blackburn and Clitheroe means the line is blocked. Trains running between these stations will be cancelled.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Train services are unable to run between Blackburn and Clitheroe (in both directions).
Services between Manchester Victoria and Blackburn may be affected by this disruption.
What should I do?
You can travel on the next Northern service to your destination, where available.
Should this disruption continue then road replacement transport will be requested.
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Road transport will be operated by S Line as follows:
From Clitheroe to Blackburn, calling at Whalley, Langho, Ramsgreave & Wilpshire and Blackburn then set down customers as required at stations to Manchester Victoria at 21:50
Please check station information posters for the location of the bus pick-up points and be advised that bicycles, e-bikes and dogs (except for service dogs) are not permitted on replacement road transport.
Journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.
