Description
Following a fault with the signalling system in the Conisbrough area, all lines have now reopened. Whilst services recover, trains travelling between Sheffield and Doncaster may still be delayed by up to 30 minutes, revised or cancelled.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Northern customer advice:
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
TransPennine Express customer advice:
You should continue to travel as planned, however, your journey will be delayed. We are sorry for the delay to your journey today.
As it is late in the day the number of connecting trains are limited. If you have already started your journey, TransPennine Express will make every effort to get you to your destination by rail.
