Description
The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton. Whilst they do their work, all lines are closed. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Major disruption is expected until 10:00.

Transport for Wales services between Shrewsbury and Crewe, changing at Crewe for London Northwestern Railway services to Birmingham New Street via Stafford and Wolverhampton
Transport for Wales services between Shrewsbury and Hereford, changing at Hereford for West Midlands Railway services to Birmingham New Street via Droitwich Spa and Bromsgrove
Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, London Northwestern Railway, Transport for Wales and West Midlands Railway services between Wolverhampton and Birmingham stations
If you chose to drive your car and park at a station on one of the routes below because of this disruption, your rail ticket will be valid to travel back to the same station later in the day to collect your car.
Rail replacement has been requested to run between Shrewsbury / Telford Central and Wolverhampton. These are expected on site from 09:00.

From Shrewsbury to Wolverhampton, provided by Lakeside
From Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury, provided by JKT
Road transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
