Description

A fault with the signalling system between Coventry and Rugby means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 35 minutes, revised or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Avanti West Coast customer advice:

Birmingham International and Coventry will not be served.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on:

  • CrossCountry between Birmingham New Street and Coventry / Nuneaton

  • Chiltern Railways between Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

Rail replacement transport has been requested to run between Coventry and Northampton in both directions. These are expected to be in place from 10:30 and will be provided by Arden Coaches, JRS Coaches, Keyline Coaches & A1 minibus and coaches.
