Transport for Wales between Cardiff Central / Crewe and Chester, and also between Crewe and Holyhead / Llandudno

Description

A fault with the signalling system between Crewe and Chester means trains have to run at a reduced speed. Trains running between these stations may be revised or delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Avanti West Coast customer advice:

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

If you no longer wish to travel because your train's delayed or cancelled, you can request a full refund from where you bought your ticket.

Transport for Wales customer advice:

You may use your ticket, at no extra cost on Avanti West Coast and Transport for Wales services between Crewe / Chester and Warrington Bank Quay.

Rail replacement buses supplied by Keane's and Northwich Travel are expected to be at Crewe and Chester stations at approximately 22:30.
