Glasgow Central circular services, and also between Glasgow Central and Neilston / Newton

Description

A fault with the signalling system at Crosshill means that lines are disrupted.

As a result, trains operating through this station may be delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 11:00.

Customer advice:

Services from Glasgow Central to Neilston (in this direction) will run non stop from Glasgow Central to Muirend.

Services from Glasgow Central to Newton via Crosshill, (in this direction) will run non stop from Glasgow Central to Kings Park.

You may use your ticket on McGills Buses between Paisley, Glasgow, Barrhead and Neilston at no extra cost.

Alternative pedestrian routes are available for services via Pollokshields West and Crossmyloof, and services via Neilston and East Kilbride.

For Newton only, customers can travel via Glasgow Central on the following services:

  • Dalmuir to Larkhall

  • Milngavie to Cumbernauld / Motherwell

Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on alternative ScotRail services via any reasonable route in order to complete your journey.

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
