Description
The emergency services have completed their work following an earlier incident between Newport (South Wales) and Hereford. This has allowed all lines to reopen. Whilst service recovers, trains may still be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customers with tickets dated today, Tuesday 28 October may use their ticket tomorrow, Wednesday 29 October at no extra cost.
Transport for Wales have organised buses which are running between Newport, Hereford and Shrewsbury to assist customers in completing journeys where possible at no extra cost.
Road transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

West Midlands Railway between Hereford and Birmingham New Street
You can also use Stagecoach South Wales Buses to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost on the following routes:
X24 between Newport and Pontypool via Cwmbran
21 and X3 between Pontypool and Cwmbran
23 between Cwmbran and Hereford via Abergavenny
X5 between Cardiff and Cwmbran
