Description
Lines have now reopened following a fire near the railway in the Cwmbran area. Trains are running at a reduced speed for safety, meaning services running between Cardiff Central and Abergavenny may be cancelled or delayed by up to 10 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the following routes:
Great Western Railway between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway
CrossCountry between Cardiff Central / Bristol Parkway and Birmingham New Street
West Midlands Railway between Hereford and Birmingham New Street
You can also use the following Stagecoach bus services to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost:
Route X24 between Newport and Pontypool via Cwmbran
Routes 21 and X3 between Pontypool and Cwmbran
Route 23 between Cwmbran and Hereford via Abergavenny
Route X5 between Cardiff and Cwmbran
