Description

A fault with the signalling system between Pitlochry and Kingussie means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between Perth and Inverness will be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until approximately 20:00.

Customer advice:

Limited rail replacement transport is in operation from Perth to Inverness.

ScotRail are still trying to secure transport to operate from Inverness to Perth.

You may use your ticket on CityLink services on the following routes:

  • M90: Perth – Inverness

  • M91: Perth - Inverness

Please note, capacity on coaches is limited. Customers may have an extended wait for travel.

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination.

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
