Description

The broken down train between Darlington and Northallerton has now moved, southbound lines have now reopened. Trains running between Darlington and York may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised whilst service recovers.

Disruption is expected to continue until 16:00.

You can use your ticket on the following services, at no extra cost:

• The two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service

• LNER services between Edinburgh, Newcastle, York and Doncaster

• Northern services between Doncaster and Sheffield

• TransPennine Express services between Edinburgh, York and Leeds

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
