Description

A tree blocking the railway between Dartford and Rainham (Kent) means that fewer trains are able to run on some lines. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 21:00.

Customer advice:

A number of incidents involving trees on the railway means that Thameslink services which usually run between London and Rainham (Kent) are subject to delays of around 20-40 minutes as well as last minute alterations.

If you are travelling on these services this afternoon, please allow an additional 45 minutes to reach your destination. You may be delayed or have to change onto more trains than usual to get where you need to be.

Ticket Acceptance:

In case you find it helps you complete your journey, your ticket will be accepted on the following services at no additional cost:

  • Thameslink services on any reasonable route

  • Southeastern services on any reasonable route

  • London Underground between London terminals

Please consider how using an alternative operator / route will impact your journey time.
