Between Blackburn and Clitheroe / Rochdale
Description
Flooding on the line at Darwen means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains are unable to run between Blackburn and Bolton and will be cancelled or diverted via Todmorden. All stations between Blackburn and Bolton will not be served.
We expected this to continue until approximately 15:00.
Additional Information:
Network Rail are aware of the flood water and staff have arrived on site.

Headbolt Lane - Blackburn via Manchester Victoria
Blackpool North - York via Preston
Preston - Colne

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
