Description
The animals have been removed from the railway in the Deansgate area, and trains can run at normal speed on all lines. While service recovers, trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 16:30.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Manchester Airport to Edinburgh and Glasgow Central
Liverpool Lime Street to Cleethorpes

What should I do?
You should continue to travel as planned, however, your journey may be delayed.
Some services will divert between Manchester Piccadilly and Huddersfield and will not call at Manchester Oxford Road or Manchester Victoria.
To help you complete your journey, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on Manchester Metrolink between Manchester Airport and Manchester Victoria in both directions.
Alternatively, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the next available Northern or TransPennine Express service towards your destination.
