Description

The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Doncaster and York / Selby. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Major disruption is expected until 18:15.

CrossCountry customer advice:

Doncaster station will not be served by CrossCountry trains.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following alternatives:

  • LNER services between Doncaster and Leeds

  • Northern services from Sheffield and Doncaster

  • TransPennine Express services between Sheffield and Doncaster

  • Alternate CrossCountry services between Leeds and York

You can also use your ticket at no extra cost on the two CrossCountry services operating before and the two CrossCountry services after this service.

Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over, but Coach B, H and L are our unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.

Hull Trains customer advice:

Hull Trains services will divert via Goole.

Trains are unable to serve the following stations:

  • Howden

  • Selby

  • Northern services between Howden and Selby / Leeds

  • Northern services between Selby and Leeds

  • Northern services from Brough to Howden / Selby

  • TransPennine Express services from Brough to Selby

  • TransPennine Express services between Selby and Leeds

  • LNER services between London Kings Cross and Leeds


Please be aware that the other operators’ services are also likely to be busy.
