Description

The emergency services have safely completed their work in dealing with an incident between Driffield and Nafferton, allowing all lines to be reopened.

Whilst service recovers, trains running between Hull and Scarborough may still be cancelled or delayed.

This is expected to cause disruption until 18:00.

Following disruption between Driffield and Nafferton due to the emergency services dealing with an incident, all lines have reopened.

How does this affect my journey?

Train services are able to run between Hull and Scarborough in both directions. Some disruption may be experienced as the train service returns to normal working.

What should I do?

You can travel on the next Northern service to your destination, where available.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Replacement transport:

Not currently required however should the incident continue the road transport availability will be carried out.
