Description
An operational incident between Dundee and Broughty Ferry means the line towards Aberdeen is blocked. As a result of this, trains between Dundee and Aberdeen may be revised.
Disruption is expected until 22:00.
Customer advice:
Rail replacement buses have been requested at Perth, Dundee and Aberdeen. One bus has been confirmed to run from Dundee at 19:20 to Aberdeen (operated by Bay Travel), and another two at Perth at 19:30 going to Dundee / Aberdeen, (operated by Merlin buses). Due to extremely limited alternative transport confirmed at present, you may wish to consider making your own arrangements.
You can use your tickets at no additional cost on the following services:
ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination
Stagecoach East between Dundee and Arbroath, and between Arbroath and Montrose
CityLink between Dundee and Aberdeen
If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
