Description

Following a fault with the signalling system caused by damage to the overhead wires between Durham and Darlington, all lines have now reopened.

As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Residual disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on London North Eastern Railway services between Edinburgh and Doncaster in both directions.

LNER customer advice:

You can use your ticket on the following train companies at no extra cost:
