This block may be taken overnight or extra time may be required before the end or after the start of regular service. While the fault is dealt with, some services may be diverted around the issue using an alternative line.

This may be an extended period of time whilst Network Rail take a block of the line to replace the damaged rail and make the line safe again. We will provide you with regular updates and inform you when the line has reopened.
