Between Newport (South Wales) and Ebbw Vale Town

Description

More trains than usual needing repairs at the same time means fewer trains are able to run between Newport and Ebbw Vale Town. As a result, a reduced train service will operate on the route until the end of the day.

Services between Cardiff Central and Ebbw Vale Town will operate as normal in either direction and remain unaffected by this problem.

Customer advice:

Customers at Newport wishing to travel to stations between Pye Corner and Ebbw Vale Town are advised to travel to Cardiff Central on Transport For Wales services and change onto connecting services towards Ebbw Vale Town.

Customers at stations between Ebbw Vale Town and Pye Corner wishing to travel to Newport are advised to travel to Cardiff Central and change onto connecting Transport For Wales services towards Newport.
