There are more trains than usual requiring repairs between Newport (South Wales) and Ebbw Vale Town. This means that there are fewer units available to run the service between these stations.

As a result, a reduced service is currently in operation.

Trains running between Maesteg / Cardiff Central and Ebbw Vale Town are able to operate as normal.

This is expected until the end of the day.

If your train is cancelled, you can travel on the next available service, at no extra cost.

If you are at Newport, you are advised to travel on Transport for Wales services to Cardiff Central, where you can then change for connecting Ebbw Vale Town services.

If you are at a station between Ebbw Vale Town and Pye Corner and are wishing to travel to Newport, you are advised to travel to Cardiff Central and change there for connecting Transport for Wales services towards Newport.
