Description

A person has been hit by a train between Edinburgh and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines towards Berwick-upon-Tweed are closed. Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.

CrossCountry have requested road transport to run between Edinburgh and Berwick-upon-Tweed. You may use these services at no additional cost. Any confirmed coaches will be shown in online journey planners.

Your ticket can also be used on LNER services between Edinburgh and Newcastle once lines have reopened.
